Remarks
It is with great regret I have to admit my 73 year old body will not handle dingy sailing.
I built her from a kit cut out by boatbuilder Tony O'Connor as my forever boat.
This boat was originally designed with a yawl rig, ( lug sail and mizzen. )
It is redesigned, at my request, by the designer ( American, Clint Chase ) and sailmaker( Graham Hill ) to be gaff rigged with jib.
Hollow oregan mast, oregan gaff and boom.
With this lapstrake constructed dingy, epoxy glues and resins were used.
All timber work was given 3 to 4 coates of epoxy resin before final varnish or epoxy paint.
Main halyards dyeema cored.
Good quality hardware used throughout.
Torqeedo 3hp electric outboard, used once for less than an hour.
Oars never used.
Licensed and galvanised John Papas trailer with electric winch.
Some construction plans and photos available.
Most comments are, what a pretty looking boat !
