SOLD - The Compass 29 has long been considered the ideal entry point yacht for family coastal cruising and short-handed sailing. Solidly built of hand-laid fibreglass and fitted with a moderate sized sailplan, Compass 29s are comfortable to sail in any conditions and they enjoy a great reputation as seakindly yachts. They have plenty of room in the cockpit and down below you'll find good headroom, a spacious 4-person dinette table that can convert to a double berth plus 4 more berths, a galley with gas stove, sink and refrigeration and a private marine toilet.

This Compass 29 has a professionally upgraded skeg hung rudder which was fitted when she was first launched. The rudder is separate from the keel, so she is much lighter on the helm and a lot more manouverable than the other Compass 29s.

Her mainsail was new in 2022 and she also has two genoas, a storm jib and a spinnaker plus a spare mainsail in good order.  The yacht is powered by a 2GM-15HP Yanmar diesel which can push her along at up to 6 knots when needed. A new engine start battery was recently installed.

There is a VHF radio, tiller autopilot, GPS and Plotter plus depth, log and speed electronics and a compass so she's good to go.

An ideal first yacht for family cruising, this Compass 29 must be sold as her owner has now upgraded to a larger yacht. A perfect choice to take the family cruising this summer!
