Originally designed by Mr Edward R Weber of Norge Boats (USA) in the late 1940s, Wotama was built over a seven-year period and launched in 1974. She was owned for 42 years by the legendary Albert Jeays who sailed out of what is now the QCYC and has for her entire life benefited from the love and care of her dedicated custodians. She recently was given a major maintenance with her owner installing a new electrical switching panel, all new LED interior and nav lighting, servicing winches, all new chain plates and the refurbishment of all her spars in addition to a major engine service that included new alternator, regulator, throttle and gear cables, and exhaust system rebuild. Her new owner will benefit from the love and attention Wotama has received and can confidently simply provision and set sail.
Over all Wotama presents in fine condition and is most definitely a head-turner with her sweet lines and lovely profile; and as noted by a surveyor as "... Built to a proven design and to a professional standard. Its construction is best described as robust". She is is located in at her berth in Manly Harbour Qld and is proudly presented for sale by Australiawide Boat Sales Qld.
