Classic yacht "SWORDFISH" Singleman's Gaff Rigged Sailing Yawl designed by legendary Americas' Cup three-time winning yacht designer Edward Burgess in 1861. Built to Burgess's detailed design specifications in 1999. Hull built of fiberglass composite using epoxy resin with stripped planked
wooden core; structural ring frames are epoxy-coated Spotted Gum.
Featured in 1885 " Small Yachts. Their Design and Construction"
The original Edward Burgess design was featured on the cover of the First Edition in 1885 of " Small Yachts. Their Design and Construction" written by Kunhardt, C. P. Published by New York: Forest and Stream Publishing Company, in 1885, and also the cover of Supplement to Small Yachts Stephens, W. P. Published by Forest and Stream, 1896.
