Farr 11.6

Sunshine Boat Sales are proud to present "Bon Accord", a well maintained cruising/racing yacht. The Bruce Farr 11.6 is a beautifully presented yacht which is not only comfortable at sea, but is a delight to handle and a pleasure to sail.

"Bon Accord" is a beautiful example of a Farr 11.6 sailing yacht. The vessel has had various work done over the years, including an engine replaced in 1995 and rebuilt in 2014, and a large sugar scoop added aft, allowing for easy accessibility to and from the tender, or after jumping in for a quick dip. The cockpit area is spacious, with seating running down both the starboard and port side, and an outdoor gas BBQ to cook for your guests. The boat is controlled from a large wooden tiller with a tiller extension. All the lines come back to the cockpit, making it simple to sail single handedly.

Down the companionway, below deck is well presented with a lovely timber finish throughout the boat. Midships on the starboard side, you are immediately greeted by the galley, with a 2 burner stove, double sink, plenty of bench space and an ample amount of storage. Aft of the Galley is currently used for extra storage. Opposite the galley is a chart table with seating and navigation instruments. Aft of the chart table is where you will find a large double bed, which is one of 2 on the vessel. Moving forward on the port side is a U shaped dinette, with a table on a gimbal that can be slid or rotated in any direction. You also have the option of dropping the table to create a double bed, creating a third double bed. Moving into the forward cabin, you will find a bathroom to starboard, with a head, sink and shower, before being greeted by the V-berth in the bow.

"Bon Accord" is a beautiful vessel, and one that the owners are reluctant to sell. However, due to having a baby on the way, they feel the vessel will be better off in the hands of someone who will make good use of her, as they do not have the time. This Farr 11.6 is a perfect yacht for those looking to cruise throughout the bay or even live aboard.
