The saloon is spacious, with comfortable settee-style seating all around. The dinette seats 6-7 for meals and can be dropped to create an occasional 3/4 berth. Remarks
"Liberator Australis" was built by the well known and respected South Australian boatbuilder Tom Wagner for his personal use. Originally intended for round the world cruising, the construction quality and attention to detail and fitting was of a high quality. With a solid timber interior and exceptional finish this yacht is unique. She was completed and launched in 1991 but through changed circumstances did not head off from SA. The present owner purchased Liberator in 1999 specifically to participate in the Sydney to Hobart race and this was achieved in 2000,2001 and 2003.
Since then she has been active in local racing, local cruising and a number of circumnavigations of Tasmania.
She is now in comfortable cruising mode and is easily sailed two handed.
