Salini will appeal to anyone looking for a quality-built, well maintained Category A, short-handed blue water passage maker, that has every feature needed to respond to any weather conditions in comfort and safety, and for long-term living aboard in head-turning style, at an affordable price.

In terms of what is included, it's hard to know where to begin, but suffice to say that the new owners can step aboard with nothing but their own clothes and sail to anywhere in the world.

In terms of what makes this the ideal boat for a couple or family who plan to spend long periods aboard, who love sailing, want to combine that with travel, whether it be coastal or global, and above all want a boat that they will love and respect? :-
First and foremost, this is a very successful design. The easily driven moderate displacement hull needs only an easily handled moderate rig to drive it. The moderate freeboard and super strong deck/cabin form will take any punishment, all the while providing a light-filled, breezy, comfortable, and spacious interior. The twin rudders with electro-hydraulic lifting keel and integral ballast provide comfort speed and stability at sea, combined with the safety and convenience of very low draft (70 cm). Her lifting centerboard allows you shelter when only shallow water shelter is available, to access tropical atolls, travel upriver, or just be the closest boat to the beach. With the centerboard down, she draws an impressive 2.45 meters, allowing her to travel uphill at significant angles.
The main is fully battened Hydranet with three slab reef points and strong lazy bag. There is also a gennaker on a furler with SS bowsprit. All sail handling is affected from the cockpit, with the big electric winches doing all the hard work. It is a joy to sail and can be driven hard without stress.
Her cutter rigged sail plan, both headsails on furlers, allows for fast reaching and added flexibility and control in strong winds. Sheets, furling lines, main traveler, preventers, and running backstays are run to the cockpit, making adjusting sails easier for a smaller crew.

There is plenty of internal storage with spacious and sensible cockpit lockers and great stern access.
Salini is built to a high quality, and super-strong, not production-built to a budget.
The boat is comprehensively and sensibly set up - Spar Craft standing rigging, Yanmar diesel/shaft drive/feathering prop, water maker, bow thruster, 2 electric winches and four manual, electric toilets, Victron solar, Watt and Sea hydro generator, Raymarine / Lecomble and Schmidt hydraulic autopilot, Raymarine radar and electronics with multiple reporting stations, new AB RIB tender and new Tohatsu 9.8 outboard, USA Kato outboard crane, near new life raft, easily accessed from the transom, great electrical system with Mastervolt 2000W invertor, electro-hydraulic lifting keel, tools, spares, safety gear, cookware and tableware.
Salini can be easily handled by a solo sailor.
