This was originally the personal ship of the president of Hans Christian and custom built to his desired specks.
The name Quarter Moon came from a poem a previous owner wrote.
In 2016 to 2017 Quarter Moon received a full refurbishment. So much so it attracted the local Port Macquarie press who wrote an article in it.
The refurb included a complete repaint of the decks, top sides and mast. Complete new lighting to LED. New Raymarine electronics, electric head and plumbing. A new hot water heater, new refrigeration unit. New standard and running rigging, all new leather upholstery in saloon.
2021 new 80ltr/hr Stella water maker with auto flush system.
2021 new hard dodger hardtop with clears.
2022 new head sail and lazy jacks boom covers and sail bags.
2022 complete bottom job, barrier paint and antifouling at cost of $27,000 at Boat Works.

All work need to be done to this boat was done, old Teak decks taken off and deck were taken up and redone with heavy laid fiberglass, new aluminium fuel tanks installed new Samson posts were made and installed, bow spread removed and redone, the list goes on and on, she is a lovely boat and Sails beautifully, she will look after you.
