This German designed and built performance cruiser, exhibits the maker's quality DNA: the yacht is well-built, strong, fast, and easy to sail with all the comforts of a modern cruiser. With a CE certification: A (High seas), Ostara gives confidence for safety on extended voyages yet the practicality for day sailing on the harbour.
Hanse 371's do not come on the market often. This sailing yacht has style and elegance with its appeal not only in its beauty, but also in its practical deck and comfortable interior.
Ostara has been well set up as a three-cabin layout, the companionway leads you into a bright, airy and spacious interior with 2 meter headroom. The aft cabins, sports a generous double berth, with good headroom forward in a large master cabin.
It would be tough to find an easier yacht to sail in this class, and yet still provide the pleasure on the helm. Spacious and comfortable, Ostara is an excellent-value perfomance cruiser. She has elegant lines and classical appearance whilst hiding a pedigree of performance, having been designed by Judel-Vrolijk.
Ostara has completed a major refit over 2022-23 that has set her up for years of trouble free sailing. Including but limited to:
-antifoul, propspeed and anodes, July 2023
-New running and standing rig
-New full garmin suite of electronics and autopilot
-New Sarca excel anchor, high tensile chain and warp. Windlass reconditioned with new solenoid.
-New 300W solar system, 3 panels all with independant Victron solar controllers
-New Fusion stereo
-New lithium house batteries with Victron DC to DC charger
-New google flatscreen tv
-Fresh engine overhaul
-New Magma bbq
-All new through hull fittings and seacocks replaced with Tru-Design composite type.
-New Lewmar opening portlights
