Compass Yacht received L Francis Herreshoff's approval for John Lidgard to alter the H28 design, by using more ballast, better draft, wider internals, overall longer (29' 7") and provided larger cockpit, compared to the traditional H28.
The fastidious owner of Tarka has maintained the boat in a very high standard, with lots of upgrades, all the maintenance up to date, with the boat being well prepared to go cruising.
