Herreshoff Mobjack 46

A unique find and sort after 46ft Herreshoff Mobjack cutter rigged ketch is now for sale exclusively with DBY Boat Sales.

Built and launched in New Zealand around 1976, she received an engine upgrade to a Yanmar 4JHTE 75hp 4-cylinder turbo diesel shaft driven which shows only 500 hours since being installed in 2008.

The interior fitout is one that oozes quality rather than price and is still in excellent condition throughout. The aft cabin is spacious and very private from the rest of the yacht.

Galley is large and well laid out with deep stainless-steel eutectic refrigeration (currently not connected). A new 4 burner gas stove has recently been installed and is NSW certified.

Stainless steel rigging is approximately 7 years old as are most of the sails along with a few older spare sails included in the sail wardrobe. There is no Genoa included.

Her teak decks are solid and spacious. The butterfly opening windows above the salon and aft cabin are stunning and provide plenty of airflow and light.

There is some repair work to be done on the forward head floor at the mast base and also along the starboard aft toe rail where she has been bumped into.
