Easterly 2 continues to race and cruise at Mornington Yacht Club. The boat is in excellent condition and has spent nearly half her life on the hard stand.
It continues to perform well with multiple division championships over the years with a very competitive AMS rating of 0.702.

This vessel was professionally built to architect design in fully moulded solid GRP, as a medium sized mast head rig.
he hull is very beamy, has a fine entry, moderate sheer and with good freeboard and lines.
The medium raked solid bolted lead fin type ballast keel is a good feature of this particular yacht.
The boat has proven to be very sea worthy.

Mast / Rigging
Mast has a single line spreader of painted extruded alloy: deck stepped and well supported by a retro fitted stainless steel fabricated gusset adjacent to the timber compression post
over the ballast keel structural members. Internal sail track with conventional boom and gooseneck connection are in good condition, standing rigging replaced in October 2021.
Mast painted white in 2021.
Boom and spinnaker pole are of alloy. Masthead Windex fitted. Mast lights fitted.
The main sheet traveller bridges the cockpit seat forward
Deck Gear
Two speed Barlow Self tailing primary winches. Self tailing Hutton halyard winches. Both installed 2025.
