If you're over the 9-5 grind and want to escape, even if only for the weekend, then this is how! Symi II is in top condition for a young 1993 Hunter 33.5 Legend. She's easily sailed short-handed or with the family, and perfect to coastal cruise to the islands or the reef. Anchor down, then enjoy the peace and quiet while watching the sunset! She's also seen bigger waters with her previous owners, having sailed extensively along the east coast and through the South Pacific for her first 20+ years.
Purchased in February 2022 as her third owners, she's undergone big ticket items including re-rigging in 2023. Haul out pre-purchase survey was completed with flying colours and we're happy to share this and our log of upgrades/maintenance/receipts. Symi II is perfect to learn to sail on (as we did), and a second home she was to be, so has always been meticulously maintained and cared for with no expense spared.

She's a comfortable yacht and you feel super safe on her, even on a heel when cruising. Super important for the non-swimmer/non-boat wife/family/guests! With a shoal draft of 1.4m you can easily get up close to the beach/out of swells/out of marinas on a low tide, and her stability is appreciated with the bulb keel.
Easy on and off with the sugar scoop and swim ladder. The RIB fits perfectly on the foredeck while under sail, not obstructing your view or access to the anchor locker, and is winched up by the main halyard. This keeps the stern clear for views/watching the wake, and for quick unobstructed access on/off for docking. She's super light at 4 tonne, which certainly helps for docking.
ON DECK:
Anodised Selden double spreader mast with swept back spreader. 3/4 rig configuration with mainsail slab-reefed with lazy-jacks and Dyneema backstays.
- All lines lead back to the cockpit - easily sailed short-handed

- Sail inventory in good condition with main & spare; furling head sail; 2 x spinnakers
- Raymarine Autopilot and instruments
- VHF/UHF and radio
- Brackets for tablets for navigation
- New Ronstan sheet bags and drink holdes
Plenty of room in the cockpit with 2 bench seats (with cushions) and 2 rear seats behind the removable full wheel (has an emergency tiller). The deck table fits perfectly in the cockpit for those sunset drinks, or dinner under the stars. Plenty of space on the foredeck and easy access from the stern to bow. Quick access to the massive storage locker under the seat in the cockpit is important - you can even stand in it! All Sunbrella is in good condition and waterproof. Removeable cockpit shade canopy provides excellent shelter, as does the bimini and dodger (with sunshade), and extra canvas for shelter.
