Owner's Comments & History

After three incredible years sailing the Caribbean, the boat has been outfitted with everything needed to feel completely at home on the water. Every adventure has been a joy, and now it is time for someone else to step aboard and live the dream, without missing a thing.
This is not just a boat, it is a fully equipped liveaboard package, complete with a top-quality tender and electric bikes, designed so you can stay self-sufficient and comfortable for the long haul.
Hunter 44 Aft Cockpit (2004), beautifully maintained and thoughtfully upgraded. She is an excellent cruiser for the Caribbean, with a wing-shaped keel and a 1.5m draft that lets you tuck into closer, more sheltered anchorages. She easily cruises at 7 knots at just 2,500 rpm, consuming only 2 to 2.5 liters of fuel per hour.
Her systems are designed for independence and reliability: a large hybrid battery bank, upgraded Valmart alternator on the main engine, 500-watt wind turbine, and 1,000 watts of rigid solar panels (installed in 2022). Onboard comfort is ensured with hot water, a manual toilet, and two generators (a portable gasoline unit and a built-in 4,200-watt diesel).
This vessel is ready to go, whether you want to explore hidden anchorages, enjoy long-term cruising, or simply step aboard and sail away.
Globic anti-polishing Hempel bottom Paint January 2025 - enough on board for another bottom job.
