Superbly built out of Huon Pine, this classic timber yacht is a real head turner where ever it pulls into port! A true Tasmanian yacht, it was built in Launceston in 1975 and made specifically for the local conditions including a hard spray dodger for excellent protection from the elements. Since its launch the vessel has been cruised extensively around the stunning waters of Southern Tasmania, and is well suited for family cruising with accommodation for 5 in total. Having been well maintained by the current owners, this vessel presents an excellent opportunity to enjoy sailing this Summer in a charming and capable Huon Pine yacht!

Stepping inside, the interior is a lovely mix of varnished timber and white finishes, giving a warm and welcoming ambience. To port is the stunning timber dinette with seating for 4 on the comfortable settee. The galley is opposite and runs along the starboard side. This is well appointed with a 2 burner gas stove, stainless steel sink, and icebox. The accommodation is ideal for family cruising with a double v-berth forward, single settee berth mid-ships, and two single aft quarter berths.

On deck, the cockpit is well protected with the hard dodger. The wheel steering is an excellent feature on a vessel of this size. Sailing is a breeze with the furling headsail, and mainsail in a boom bag with lazy jacks. There easy access forward around the wide side decks, and plenty of spaces to relax onboard and read a book in your favourite anchorage!

This vessel is powered by a well maintained 30HP Yanmar Diesel Engine. This provides easy cruising at 5 to 6 knots. It is easily accessed under the companionway making servicing a very simple exercise!

Whether you are after a first yacht, family cruiser, or even an economical live-board, this vessel has the capability to do it all! With looks that are sure to please, and its classic charm, an inspection is highly recommended. For more information please call Jo Breen on 0432031100 or John Radonic on 0459322862.
