The Inglis 47 were benchmark racing boats in their day and still perform well and are very competitive. Fast Forward has a lifting lead keel, 3 spreader rig, twin wheels and a recently overhauled diesel engine. She has a new cruiser laminate mainsail which has never been used, good head sails and numerous kites. Fast Forward is in good overall condition but could do with an internal spruce up to make the most of the beautifull timber interior. With some upgraded equipment she would still be competive as a racing boat and would make an excellent fast cruiser with the addition of some comforts. The owners are keen to sell and will consider offers.
