For passage-making, every part of the Jeanneau 44i contributes to the pleasure of sailing the open waters in complete security. Whatever the season or sea conditions, the Sun Odyssey 44i can go the distance. You will find comfortable design features in the cockpit, at the helm and in each cabin. Go ahead, take the helm, crack the sails and head to the sea, as the current owners have done. Having arrived back in SE Qld after a trip of a lifetime up to the tip and back with family, their focus is back home and it is for that reason alone they have decided to offer their yacht to the next adventure seeker.
This Jeanneau 44i has the comfortable and spacious 4 x double cabin layout. Removable panels between forward cabins can quickly convert her to a 3 x double cabin layout if you are looking for a large forward Vee king berth. The upgraded and low hour Yanmar engine and saildrive makes her a strong and reliable yacht under power, and should provide trouble free service for many years to come. This model has a reputation for her sailing performance and is ready to take on extended passages wherever you point her. Many upgrades have been undertaken as you will see in the listing below, including rigging, mainsail, lithium batteries, under-water lights, davits and watermaker to name just a few.
Having twin helm adds to her appeal, allowing clear and free access from the water or dock forward through the cockpit.
She is a fully imported, Australian taxes paid offshore cruising yacht.

Remarks
The Jeanneau 44i is a perfect yacht for cruising either staying close to our mainland or venturing further afield out onto any of the worlds oceans. The yacht has outstanding performance with a powerful sail plan ideally set up for bluewater cruising, and yet is easy to control and sail short-handed as required. All sail control lines lead back to the cockpit and the winches are located close to the helms.
Performance is not sacrificed for comfort, however, as the large transom step and swim ladder allows comfortable access to the water, twin wheels keeps the cockpit clear and a very large cockpit table with lifting leaves means very comfortable outside dining for 6 or more. A large bimini and dodger give excellent protection from the elements.
Here is the opportunity to purchase a turnkey boat and take advantage of the forthcoming cruising season. It's not too late!!!
Located in our marina for ease of inspection.
