Priced to sell "Kamehameha" is an outstanding example of the Walter Knoop design. The Knoop 31 is more than simply pleasing to the eye, these boats are comfortable with big cockpits, great volume below with headroom through the saloon, sparkling performers under sail and respected for their sea keeping qualities
(5 Sydney to Hobart races and, 3 Launceston to Hobart races with family crew says it all). These are safe, comfortable family cruiser/racers that can still hold their own on the race course today. "Kamehameha" has been a much-loved family racer/cruiser and is reluctantly offered for sale. She presents in very good condition.
Very competitive with a new ORC rating this boat has had some excellent results racing on the Derwent this last year, winning combined clubs winter series div 2 both ORC and PHS, and 2nd RYCT summer pennant both ORC and PHS handicap categories. Ideal boat to be campaigned for inshore or offshore racing or taking the family away for the relaxing weekends.
