Amarina is a well-regarded Lexcen 32 yacht designed by Ben Lexcen and built by Beswick. She was purchased from the original owner in 1991 when she was two years old, and has been sailed and maintained regularly for the past 35 years by the present owners. She is now being reluctantly offered for sale due to the owners' age, with all equipment included.
Amarina is a delight to sail, with wheel steering, an Autohelm 4000, and easy sail furling from the safety of the cockpit. She has been used for RSAYS Twilight racing, achieving several podium finishes, but has mostly been enjoyed for family cruising in South Australian waters. Although she sleeps six, most cruising has been with only two aboard, including annual trips to Kangaroo Island and many passages to Port Vincent and other Gulf ports.
Protective cockpit and deck handrail covers help preserve the laid beech cockpit and external varnish. She presents as a practical, capable and well-equipped cruising yacht, ready for her next owner.
