Tramp II is a Ben Lexcen designed performance blue water sailing yacht, with exceptional coastal and offshore capabilities.

Ben Lexcen was a renowned Australian boat designer, famous for his winning winged keel design in the 1983 America's Cup.
Tramp II is a Lexcen Revolution that embodies the quintessential features of a classic Ben Lexcen design: superior performance, effortless handling, and a very generous interior volume.
If you are looking for a beautifully maintained seaworthy yacht that is a pleasure to sail and is ready for cruising, look no further than Tramp II.

Tramp II was built in 1981 by her original owners, John and Sandra Price, in conjunction with Ben Lexcen. She is a very strong boat, with a heavily laid up fibreglass and vinylester coated hull, plum stem, a six tonne three-quarter solid lead keel, transom and skeg hung rudder, fiberglass and marine plywood decks, saloon top and a hard dodger, with toughened glass windows. The third, and current owners, had her sandblasted back to the epoxy painted vinyl ester gel coat in 2023 and found no signs of osmosis in the hull.

As a masthead rigged cutter, Tramp II is easily sailed solo or short-handed. Both foresails are on modern furlers, the mainsail has three slab reefing points and lazy jacks to the boom bag, and two speed self-tailing winches on the mast and in the sunken aft cockpit facilitate ease of sail trimming. The two foresails comprise a staysail on the foredeck, and a high cut clew Yankee to the bow sprit, which gives Tramp II a sail plan more similar to a 42 ft yacht. Other sails include an asymmetrical spinnaker with a sock and a storm jib. She will start sailing in light winds (~10 knots) with increased windward performance as the wind strengthens (~15 knots) and stays very comfortable to sail in heavier winds (+20 knots) when reefed appropriately.
Tramp II has wide clear decks and is fitted with both a self-steering wind vane, and an electronic autopilot.

Below deck is a surprise, the large naturally lit bright saloon area, and forward sunken galley, makes her feel like a much larger yacht. There is one large aft cabin that occupies the width of the boat, and a V-berth with two generous 2.1m length berths. The U-shaped galley with large built in fridge has ample storage and work surfaces. Two large timber hatches, four deck dorades, and portlights in the aft cabin provide good ventilation. Designed for living aboard she can comfortably accommodate four and has plenty of food, fuel and water storage and a water maker to allow for extended periods at sea.

Tramp II is a fantastic mid-size cruiser and is a very seaworthy vessel.
The current owners have sailed over 13,000 nm since leaving South Australia in 2019.
She is fully equipped for blue water sailing and is ready to start cruising again.

Currently she is berthed in the resort Marina, Rebak Island Marina, in Langkawi.
As a full time live aboard yacht, Tramp II has been consistently and very well maintained by her current owners.
