Mangrove Jack 28 and 10 metre berth at Scarborough for sale. If you want the vessel only - $55k. Berth is rent free, you own the lease, includes power, water, showers and toilets.
Sirene Spirit has given us some awesome family adventures but kids grow up and we want to internationally travel for several years so it's time for a new owner. Fully refitted with nothing to do but go sailing, fishing, diving and exploring.
Originally built in survey for charter, Sirene Spirit is a rock solid, shallow draft, full keel sailboat. Full headroom throughout. Hull is solid and well maintained, taken back to original when we bought it, epoxy sealed and antifouled with Jotun products. Latest antifoul was October 2024. All through-hull skin fittings and sea cocks were replaced with NZ made TrueDesign composites. Rudder and propeller are enclosed at the stern of the keel which makes it very difficult to break or foul. Safe and comfortable coastal cruising and exploring are this vessel's purpose. Harkin self tailing winches, in-mast furling on the main sail and roller reefing on the 110% Genoa, all sailing is easily single handed from the cockpit, dry and out of the sun. Cockpit has a full set of clears and extended shades. Midgy mesh for all hatches. Anchoring can also be done at the cockpit via a Muir electric windlass either switched from the helm or via wireless remote control.
Powered by a modern, heat exchanger, three cylinder 21hp Nanni diesel which is built on a Kubota block. Always reliable, easy to service and super economical. Professionally serviced October 2024.
Electronics are Raymarine running on a NMEA network including an AIS VHF radio, Axiom 9+ panel, wind sensor, rudder sensor and hydraulic autopilot. Steering is Hydrive hydraulic, precise and rock solid.
Power system is Enerdrive with 2 x 200amp Lithium Ion batteries, charging from either the solar array or the engine via DC2DC/MPPT charger plus a multi bank 240 volt AC mains charger. Wired for wind charging as well, wind turbine not installed yet. An inverter supplies 240 volts AC to power points. 12 volt DC distribution and circuit breakers are all Blue Sea. Fusion 4 channel plus subwoofer Bluetooth FM stereo. All lighting including external and navigation is LED.
90 litres of refrigeration and 90 litres of freezer running on a Secop 12 volt compressor with digital thermometers.
Pressurized hot and cold water throught the boat, hot water system is an Isotherm running on either engine or 240 volt at the berth. Full headroom shower/toilet.
600 litre water tank in the keel/bottom, 120 litre diesel tank and 160 litre black water tank. Pressurized sea water hoses at bow and stern. Gas oven/stove and barbeque.
Three double berths plus the lounge drops down to another berth if required.
Rear platform with steps and retracting ladder into the water, great for diving, fishing, swimming, getting to the tender.
Tender is a Polycraft 3.0 metre Tuffy powered by an awesome Yamaha 15hp, rear ladder to the water, rod holders.
Vessel is soon to be surveyed this June for insurance purposes.
