Renowned for their offshore capability, strong build, and private aft cabin, its little wonder why the Manitou 32 remains such a highly sought after cruiser. Easily sailed by a novice, they suit anyone from a first yacht buyer, through to the experienced sailor wanting to fulfil their most ambitious cruising aspirations. Built in NSW with a solid, hand-laid fibreglass hull, the vessel also features an integral shallow draft long keel, ideal for exploring remote locations. This vessel is an excellent example of the design, and with its stunning cherry red hull, is sure to turn heads where ever it pulls into port! The current owner has significantly rebuilt the interior over the last couple of years, which has significantly modernised it. Freshly antifouled in Jan 2024, this impressive package is ready to enjoy!
Stepping inside, the charming interior has a light and airy ambience. With light timber trims, and clean white finishes, it is great space to relax at the end of a days sailing. To port is the timber dinette, with seating for 4 in comfort on the neatly upholstered settee. The galley is opposite and is quite stunning with the large timber bench top. This is equipped with stainless steel sink, and excellent storage. The forepeak is dedicated to storage, and has plenty of room for spare lines and fenders. The accommodation is ideal for family cruising, with the private aft cabin accessed from the cockpit complete with double berth and storage. Additional accommodation is in the main cabin with a single pilot berth port. This area also houses the portable toilet, with a generous storage space opposite.
Outside, the cockpit is deep and safe, providing excellent security in challenging conditions. The cabin top extends to provide excellent protection from the elements, much like having a hard spray dodger. Easily sailed shorthanded, all lines are lead aft to the cabin top, and both the mainsheet and primary winches are in easy reach of the helm. The vessel is also fully equipped with VHF Radio and Navman depth sounder in easy view.
This vessel is powered by an 18HP Volvo diesel engine. This provides easy and economical cruising at 5 knots. There is also excellent access to the engine bay for hassle free servicing.
With its excellent presentation, simplicity, and capability, this vessel presents an excellent opportunity to enjoy a vessel of this size and pedigree for a minimal investment. For more information please call Jo Breen on or John Radonic on .
