Designed by David Lyons to the Mount Gay 30 box rule (originally: Team Fujitsu Cuckoo's Nest) this vessel is a renowned 'giant killer' capable of chasing down much larger opponents in the right conditions. The design features a narrow waterline beam and low wetted surface area, making her a great all-round performer both offshore and around the buoys. This vessel has been further improved with a new keel added prior to competing in the 2006 Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, and is capable of competing in further Cat 1 offshore races. Also fitted with a very effective water ballast system with 300 litres either side which can be filled within 90 seconds, this vessel is a serious double-handed Sydney to Hobart prospect! Having benefited from an experienced and fastidious owner, the vessel has been continuously upgraded including NEW 2022 STANDING RIGGING, NEW B&G ELECTRONICS, 2021 KEEL AND RUDDER REMOVED AND INSPECTED, NEW 2021 HARKEN TRAVELLER TRACK AND CARS, NEW 2020 HARKEN PRIMARY WINCHES, NEW 2020 AUTOPILOT, EXTENSIVE SAIL INVENTORY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, the list goes on! This competitive vessel is ready to race and is sure to impress!

On deck, the vessel is superbly set up for both double-handed and fully crewed racing. The hull and deck are in excellent condition having been professionally re-faired and resprayed in 2016. A custom carbon bowsprit was also added to further improve the vessel's downwind performance. The deck layout is very well set up with an etchell's inspired control line box, putting everything in easy reach. There is easy access forward around the wide side deck, and the non-slip surface is in excellent condition.

Stepping inside, the interior is tidy and functional with NEW 2018 floor boards, a 2-burner gimballed metho stove, and accommodation for 6 (2 fixed berths and 4 pipe cots). There is a private toilet forward, and plenty of space for sail storage.
This vessel is powered by a well maintained and regularly serviced Yanmar 20HP with 1200 hours on the clock. This provides easy cruising at 5 to 6 knots.

Whether you are looking for an Offshore Double Handed yacht, or fully crewed around the cans racer, this vessel has the stability, performance and rating to succeed! Offered as a true turn key package, ready to race, it is ready to put its next owner on the podium. For more information please call Jo Breen on or John Radonic on .
