Large sail area. I am told the rig and keel are from a Sydney 41 called Sledgehammer as per design docs.
Andy Dovell and Pacesetter working for 2nd previous owner Bruce Staples.
Previous owners raced successfully out of Sandringham and completed multiple Sydney to Hobarts.
Great light wind performance
Copes easily with strong breeze if fully crewed or reefed. Hence Hyde main has 4 reefs for short handed sailing.
Good reaching performance
Top speed on 2023 westcoaster 25 knots surfing downwind under 3 rd reefed main only in Approx. 45-50 knots.
Currently slipped at RGYC, 3rd to 16th April for antifoul and Keel and Rudder inspection
If not sold we will be continuinig with ORCV racing and possibly S2H at the end of the year.
If your just starting out racing we can do a deal and get you onboard if you want.
It is on the market due to the fact I am looking at upgrading to a more family cruising orientated yacht.
