Nautor Swan 40 Sparkman & Stephens Design Just Listed

Presenting "Bella Gioia", hull #23 of the famed Sparkman & Stephens designed, Nautor Swan 40 class. Arguably, she is likely to be the best example in the southern hemisphere (if not globally), this classic Swan 40 is a true gentleman's cruiser with serious race-winning pedigree. Hundreds of thousands have been invested in her upkeep, refits and sails since the current owner's acquistion in 2010. She is now ready for her next custodian to get sailing and secure more victories!

HISTORY & PROVENANCE:
First launched for an Italian client in 1972 by Nautor Swan at their yard in Jacobstad, Finland. She had an illustrious life sailing around the Med and competing in the European circuit. The yacht was then sold and delivered to Australia by the previous owner in 2002, a Danish lady who raced out of Sydney. The current custodian then purchased her in 2010, delivered to Fremantle and has been regularly sailed out of RFBYC ever since. Race results include the prestigious Governor's Cup against over 100 competitors, the Midriver series of races conducted by RFBYC, and the Swan (river) Retro Series.
