The Northshore 33 is well known as a popular Australian Cruiser/Racer which was designed well ahead of its time. Boasting an impressive turn of speed, they have proven successful as twilight and round-the-buoy racers, whilst remaining easy to sail, and very comfortable to cruise. This vessel is an excellent example of the design and is one of the sought-after 'owner's cabin' versions. Always very well maintained, this vessel presents an excellent opportunity to purchase a versatile, fast, and comfortable yacht, ready to be enjoyed.
Inside, the use of space is very impressive for a vessel of this size. The private owner's cabin to port features a large double berth, and a second double is available in the forepeak. There are two additional single berths in the saloon, creating a total of 6 berths when needed. The galley is to starboard and features a large ice box, metho stove, hot and cold water, ample bench space and excellent storage. A private bathroom is opposite the galley and includes a full hot and cold shower, toilet, and vanity. With the varnished light timber trims and white surfaces, the interior of the vessel was well ahead of its time and presents in excellent condition throughout.
On deck, the vessel is well set up to be easily sailed short-handed. All lines lead back to the cockpit, and the furling headsail and lazy jacks for the main make sail handling simple. Complete with autopilot, this vessel can be single-handed with ease if you desire!
The Volvo Penta 23HP Diesel engine easily powers the vessel at 5 to 6 knots in any conditions and has been well maintained.
With the Northshore reputation for quality and performance and excellent presentation, this is a vessel not to be missed. It will suit anyone looking for a comfortable cruising yacht, or a keen club racer. For more information, please call Stuart Watson on or Jack Allison on .
