Happy Daze is a 1984 Northshore 30 Santana designed by Doug Peterson, built by Northshore Yachts in Sydney. All the hard work has been done - ready to sail away!
Happy Daze was last slipped in September 2025, hull antifouled, propellor serviced and prop-speed applied, depth transponder cleaned and coated with anti-foul release coating.
The Volvo Penta D1-20 (18hp) engine with low hours was last serviced in March 2026. Also, a new heat exchanger was fitted in February 2025 and new engine mounts in January 2024. It features a shaft drive with an Autostream stainless steel, self feathering propellor to reduce drag.
All the electrics have been tested abd upograded where necessary including two new 105Ah house batteries installed May 2025. LED lighting throughout.
The mast was removed from the boat September 2021 for a complete service:
o All standing rigging replaced.
o Full Service on sheaves/rigging points
o All halyards replaced.
o Complete replacement and service of all mast wiring and sensors.
o All mast sheaves, spreader points, rigging attachments have been visually inspected. Masthead presents in good condition, as does the forestay take-offs.
o Mast reinstalled and dock tuned as of November 2021.
Happy Daze is extremely well fitted out and a joy to sail. Will suit a small family or single handed sailor.
