How Bizarre is an elite, powerhouse with legendary racing pedigree and a packed trophy cabinet.
Designed by the renowned Reichel/Pugh (SeaQuest RP36), this iconic yacht is famously quick, remarkably stiff, and a dominant force in offshore, passage, and competitive club racing.
She was built to CE Design Category A. Design Category A is the highest CE certification rating a boat can receive.

Presented in impeccably maintained condition, she offers a rare and highly desirable combination: elite racing capability seamlessly paired with an impressive comfortable cruising fit-out. Unlike stripped-out racing machines, she provides a welcoming, well-appointed interior that makes extended cruising, delivery trips, and weekend getaways a pleasure.

A comprehensive $12,000 B&G electronics upgrade (2024) provides cutting-edge tactical data

Remarks
This boat is a dream to sail, apart from her amazing upwind performance in light and heavy, her stability downwind is extraordinary.
On the delivery trip to Sydney we had gale force winds of 50knts with huge steep seas up the Sydney coast, we hit speeds over 24knts (on film) with the boat incredibly stable particularly in the trough of the wave after a long surf. It was a great test for the boat with that year the Sydney Hobart having two days of very strong 30+ Easterly's blowing down the coast, we were able to fly the A5 assy through that night and day bringing our position to around low 40's in the large fleet. For a small sized boat in that fleet was impressive.
She is an exceptional boat.
For Cat 1 & 2 there is a seperate emergency rudder that stores below deck which can that slide into a removable cassette mounted on the back of the boat (all in 5min) which incase of a rudder loss, you could easily steer the boat or keep sailing!!
