Seaspray Yacht Sales present this Rival 38A, EOS, a 2 cabin, solid, performance, ocean cruising yacht, built in the UK.
Rival 38As were commissioned for the designer, Peter Brett and slightly modified for short-handed ocean sailing. The Rival 38A is one of the classic Rival range of long-distance cruisers, sharing the 'look' of the smaller Rivals, but with more length, fuller ends than the smaller Rivals, and using a clever raised companionway deck layout, the Rival 38A benefits from having a twin aft cabin.
Eos is a fine example of this sought after British designed and built classic blue water cruiser which have proven to be highly capable offshore cruising yachts and are highly sought after by blue water cruisers around the world.
Eos has twin poles for downwind sailing and an arch above the stern pulpit for a large solar panel and a secure base for the cockpit awning.
EOS has benefitted from a continual program of professional maintenance during the current ownership, and is currently in Thailand.
Some recent works done in Malaysia include: Original white gelcoat finish to topsides and deck mouldings in 2023, and a
full osmosis treatment completed in 2023
