Roberts 38 professionally built in 1992 from NZ Kauri glassed over. This is a project boat and once brought back to her original charm she will be a beautiful boat again.
She needs some work: - The decks need replacing and the cabin top and window need some work, the interior will need to be pulled apart and rebuilt (the main internal structures appear OK), the rigging will need replacing and the spars checked, under the water is unknown.
She has some good things: - A 2014 VETUS 65hp Diesel engine with 10 hours (it has not run for 12 years), an Aries Windvane, gimballed stove, 7 sails in various condition.
In her glory days she sailed the Pacific via NZ, Tonga, Fiji and New Caledonia on her way to Australia.
