Fibreglass/GRP Very nice hull, all anti scraped off and re- epoxied.
This is a true Savage [ built in Williamstown ], Defiance 30. Good condition. Set up for club racing and local overnight cruising in Western port. Recent Quantum main [ fully battened ] and genoa [ on furler ] both in cruising laminate, plus older # 2,3 and 4 jibs. Big light symmetrical kite. 2 x Andersen SS ST40 primaries, 2 x halyard cabin top winches. Furling head sail and main in boom bag with lazy jacks 2GM15hp Yanmar Engine in good condition with fully reco gearbox, new volvo drip-less shaft seal, new cockpit drains hoses seacocks and skin fittings, new water strainer, new cooling hoses, cleaned ports and thermostat. Oil changes regularly. New spectra main topping lift. New dyneema outhaul tackle in boom. Set up with AS category 4 Safety gear. New shroud chain-plate bolts. Good Access to motor gearbox and internal port and starboard stern areas
New 200 watt solar set up. Electric Auto wheel steering, chart plotter and sounder at helm. Very nice hull, all anti scraped off back to original gelcoat and re-epoxied 4 coats, with zero blisters found. [ if you have ever done that job then you know the value in having that already complete ! ]
