This Savage Oceanic 42 is a beautiful example of Jack Savage's centre-cockpit bluewater cruising masterpiece. Originally drawn as his own boat, the design proved so popular that 53 were launched.
Launched in 1981, she is USA Registered and has comfortably and safely cruised Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Indonesia with the new owners.
In 2014 she was fitted with a new 4-cylinder Yanmar 4JH4-TE 75 hp turbo diesel direct drive with a 3 blade eathering max-prop.
She has two autopilots, three headsails, a staysail a boom furling mainsail, plus an MPS and asymmetrical spinnaker.
She has the factory hard dodger, and excellent awnings to protect you from the sun.
She holds 800 litres of fresh water plus she has a Spectra watermaker, and 1200 watts of solar panels.
The owners' double cabin and ensuite are aft, plus there is a double guest cabin forward with a second bathroom.
She is ready to go cruising again and is a very dry boat.
