"Ezibeat" is a true bluewater (Jon Sayer-designed) cruiser. The Sayer pedigree guarantees innovation that works. His designs are typically fast, sea-kindly hulls, easily managed rigs and exceptional below-deck accommodations. Sayer is a 'salty' designer who regularly 'road tests' his designs. He is currently (as this is written) competing in his 5th Melbourne to Osaka (two-handed) race. "Ezibeat" is a proven and exciting world cruiser with thousands of sea miles under her keel having cruised Antarctic and tropical waters.

The Vessel was superbly (professionally) constructed in 5083 marine-grade aluminium (immensely strong). The hull is fair, the bilges are round and spray foam internal insulation eliminates condensation and contributes to crew comfort which is further enhanced by the ducted central heating.

The efficient cutter rig (standing rigging NEW 2022) with lines leading back to the huge, sheltered cockpit (hard dodger, cockpit hardtop and clear side curtains) means all sails can be managed (including reefing) from the cockpit. With the twin wheels/rudders and shoal draft keel, she is responsive and beautifully balanced under sail, easily and safely handled by a couple at sea.

"Ezibeat" is comprehensively equipped in terms of electronics (navigation, communication and safety), electrics and appliances, sea safety equipment in fact, everything needed for extended cruising. The 80 HP NANNI Diesel engine (NEW 2019) has what it takes to quietly and economically punch the chop without hesitation.

Below deck, the light, the sense of space and the fine timber cabinetry will get your attention. The centrally heated (ducted throughout) saloon is spacious yet cosy. There are private double cabins aft on either side of the companionway, a full-service galley, a fully equipped navigation station and a comfortable dinette. Forward of the bulkhead is the bathroom with a separate shower. The owner's cabin features a queen-sized double bed, hanging lockers, drawers and an upholstered seat. In short, this vessel is the perfect LIVEABORD.

A Survey Report (March 8 2025) is available. IN SUMMARY, the Surveyor states... This vessel was extremely well built for blue water sailing using the best materials available and was constructed to the highest professional standards using well-proven aluminium boat building methods together with robust specifications. Having been fortunate to have an owner who has been fastidious in his approach to upgrades as well as continuous and professional maintenance, "Ezibeat" currently presents in an excellent and seaworthy condition well suited to both coastal and long-distance offshore sailing.
