Anitra is a Seabreeze 35 full keel cruising yacht, fully equipped for liveaboard and offshore cruising. She was built in 1974 as a custom full-keel version of the Seabreeze 35, with a heavy fibreglass layup of 3/4 to 1 inch throughout. She was given a preventative blister treatment following the West System method in 2015, and shows no signs of blisters or osmosis.

Since launch, she has sailed extensively in the South West Pacific and circumnavigated Australia. Most recently, we sailed her from Newcastle, NSW to Vanuatu via New Caledonia. After owning her for nearly 14 years, we've settled in Port Vila for now, and our adventures are taking another direction, so it's time for her to find a new owner. The bonus - she's already in paradise, with everything you might need to continue a journey onwards to PNG, Solomon Islands or further afield.

Anitra will suit someone who is looking for a safe, comfortable small cruising yacht that is capable of handing any weather conditions. She has classic lines and sails beautifully, comfortably making 5-6 knots on any point of sail. A Fleming windvane provides simple and effective self-steering, with the option of a ST1000 tillerpilot attachment if needed. Many of her major systems have been upgraded and strengthened over the past 14 years - including a low-hours Yanmar 3YM30 engine, external chainplates, strengthened cleats and backing plates, and self-tailing winches all around. Everything on board has been carefully designed for maximum durability, simplicity, and ease of repair. There is an enormous library of tools and spare parts onboard,

Drawing just 1.57 metres, she can make it to many places that larger keelboats can't. With a 1-tonne encapsulated lead keel, she provides a safe and secure ride in any conditions. She has a sealable companionway hatch and storm boards, as well as the option of either a parachute sea anchor or series drogue if things get hairy. If you sail for long enough, you'll end up being at sea when you'd rather be in port - and when that happens, you'll be glad of a stout and reliable vessel that can see you through safely.

Anitra is currently lying in Port Vila Boatyard, where she'll stay until the end of South Pacfic cyclone season. She has Australian Ship registration and all duties and fees are paid up in Vanuatu. Additional photos, videos and a video tour is avaialble on request.

The anchor winch is a Seatiger Manual Windlass with 80m chain rode. After more than 50 years of service, and being the only mechanical part of the boat that hasn't been replaced or refurbished, it's starting to show its age and occasionally slips under load. A brand-new Lofrans Royal manual windlass is included with the boat.
