LEAH-SOFIE IS LOOKING FOR A NEW LOVE, as the current owner is getting too old for the maintenance.
Therefore the price has been reduced from $85,000 to $55,000.

Leah-Sofie is a wooden sailing yacht built in Denmark in mahogany timber with spruce mast (all varnished), and has sailed the waters around Denmark, Sweden, Faeroe Islands and Germany. In 1988 she was shipped out to Sydney and later sailed down to Tasmania where she has been since, sailing the beautiful waters there.

She is very well maintained, and had new teak-deck put on in 2001.

In 2013 she had new stainless steel rig and furler for the genoa, and in 2014 she had a new Volvo Penta 28 HP, 3 cylinder motor with 3 blade propeller put in.

There are 2 beds + 1 double bed. Toilet with Porta Potty. Gas stove with oven and stainless steel gas bottle. She has 2 main sails, 2 furling genoas, and 1 spinnaker. And there is a 55 liter diesel tank, and two 30 liter water tanks.

There is VHF radio, AM/FM radio, new depth sounder and transducer, automatic el-bilge-pump and Epirb, solar panel + 2 batteries, and it also comes with a 6 person Viking life-raft. There is a davit at the back for a dinghy. One solar panel on davit. + Navik wind steerer.

Leah-Sofie has won many races in Denmark and Sydney, but she has not raced seriously in Tasmania.

Reluctant sale as she has been in current owner's hands since 1987.

She was last on the slip in November 2021, where the yearly maintenance was done to perfection. This season, however, she is due for serious maintenance, therefore the reduction in price.
