The South Coast 36 is well-known for its solid construction and safety as a bluewater cruising yacht. This model is ideal for those seeking a spacious and capable boat that is both manageable and affordable. Thanks to its current owners, this yacht has been lovingly prepared for extensive coastal cruising and offshore sailing. It features a solid dodger that provides excellent protection and shade over the safe and deep center cockpit.

Despite being only 36 feet in length, this yacht offers an impressive amount of space down below, including a comfortable private aft cabin with its own head. Moving forward on the port side towards her saloon from the aft cabin, (around the central cockpit) you will find storage space opening up into the navigation station with her chart table and instruments. On the other side of the companionway are the roomy heads with shower, basin and storage. Her saloon is spacious offering plenty of head room with the seating to port and her galley to starboard. She has a double v-beth in the bow. The engine room is fully enclosed and easily accessible from the cockpit.

"Pilgrim" is easily handled by two people, allowing you to enjoy your cruising adventures in comfort and safety. The yacht has just returned from an extended trip to the Whitsundays, giving great pleasure and memories to its owners.

She is in overall good condition and comes equipped with convenient cruising gear. The owner is a boatbuilder, and over the past 5 years of him owning her, she has undergone a refit that includes all-new plumbing, electrical systems, rigging, tanks, propeller, shaft, and skin fittings. Her new Beta engine has only 500 hours of use (4.5 years old). She was hauled out and anti-fouled in May 2024. No recent surveys done.
