The MBD designed Sydney 32 One-Design is a fun, fast club racer or family cruiser. Mast / Rigging
Whale Spars alloy keel stepped mast with double aft swept spreaders, alloy boom with internal outhaul and reefing lines, solid cylinder vang with rope tackle adjustment. "German" main sheet system twinned to cockpit winches either side. Alloy Sydney 32 Class spinnaker pole, Carbon spinnaker pole, whisker pole for headsails. Harken twin-foil on forestay, Hydraulic backstay with remote handle adjustment forward of helm. Includes LOOS Rig Tension device for rig tuning. Standing rigging is Stainless Steel Dyform, new in 2016. All necessary sheets and control lines.
Deck Gear
2 x Lewmar #32 cabin top self tailing 2-speed winches for halyards and control lines. 2 x Lewmar # 32 mainsheet winches for German style mainsheet system, 2 x Lewmar # 40 primary 2-speed self tailing winches on cockpit coamings for headsail sheet winching. 3 winch handles. 8 Lewmar cabin top rope clutches for halyards and control lines. Large diameter GRP helm wheel in cockpit floor recess, newly repainted in gloss yellow 11/24.
