This is one of the last of the Sydney 38s built. A proven timeless race classic. Sailed competitively all over the world. With a class division in the Sydney -Hobart. They are a strongly constructed boat with good generous sail plan and well favoured under IRC.
The large open cockpit in the Sydney 38 is easy to move around when racing and is equally suited to entertaining when the day is over. Below deck is a spacious and functional layout which is easy to look after. There is a large navigation area, pigeonhole storage system, plenty of space forward for sail stowage and surprisingly comfortable accommodation for the odd weekend away.
This is a great example which has never raced offshore. A safe Ocean racer, which offers excellent fun around the Bay or Harbour.
Rudder bearing replaced 2018. New foredeck hatch 2023.
Last antifoul 6/2023
