Top Hat 25 MK II Just Listed

Offering 'KITTIWAKE', my beloved Mk2 TopHat, in excellent ready-to-sail condition. Strongly built, heavily rigged and fully seaworthy, she has just been hauled out for a thorough anti-foul and topsides paint, and is looking lovely. Only one previous owner, who launched her after a long fit-out with extra strengthening to the hull. Fastidious maintenance has been continued during my ownership.
Regularly sailed solo in Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait, all systems are set up for reliability and safety. All sailing control and reefing done from the safety of the cockpit. All standing and running rigging regularly inspected and in excellent working condition.
Engine is Yanmar 1GM 8hp diesel and runs sweetly with regular serving by farmer-mechanic (me). Better reliability and range than an outboard. Stainless steel tankage keeps water and fuel pure and clean.
Sail locker includes Mainsail (FB, two reefs), #1,#2,#3 Headsails and Storm Jib (Furler and removable inner forestay). All good cruising condition, #2 is 2yo and an excellent all round heady for local winds.
Cabin layout typical for TopHat, vee-berth plus 2 saloon berths. Galley, heads and electronics all working well. Simrad Cruise plotter, Icom VHF, AM/FM radio, 406 Epirb, Raymarine ST2000 autohelm, Dual battery system and solar panel. Tools, manuals for everything, engine and sailing spares.
On deck, typical layout with all controls to the cockpit, spinaker pole for wing-on-wing, Rocna Vulcan anchor with plenty of chain and rode. Docklines and fenders.
Currently berthed securely in Queenscliff Harbour with berth paid to July 2026, with licence transferable to new owner if required.
