If you are looking for a sailboat that can take you anywhere in the world, you might want to consider the Tradewind 35. This is a classic ocean cruising yacht, with a half century pedigree. Founded in 1973, Tradewind is a distinguished boat manufacturer, recognised for its production of remarkable quality, performance-oriented and seaworthy sailing yachts. The company was founded in England, spearheaded by a team of passionate sailors who sought to create the ideal cruising boats for long voyages. With an ideal combination of tradition and innovation, the Tradewind team embarked on a fascinating journey to construct high-quality ocean cruising yachts. The company started producing traditional yachts focusing on safety and durability, essential for conductive long voyages. Initially specialising in sturdy World Cruising Yachts like this Tradewind 35. Over the years, these boats have cemented their place as the heart and soul of Tradewind, displaying exceptional craftsmanship in their intricate design and construction. While most long-keel yachts have relatively limited accommodation relative to their overall length, this John Rock design is one of a number of exceptions. The boat is a development of the earlier Tradewind 33, but is much more than simple a Mark 2 version - there were many changes, which resulted in a larger and significantly more sophisticated boat. The result is a solid go-anywhere cruising yacht that offers an excellent feeling of space with high freeboard and almost flush deck. This gives the hull an impressive amount of volume, much of which is put to good use for storage, while headroom below the small coachroof is well over 6ft 6ins. Confirming it's abilities, the Tradewind 35 was type approved for the recently rekindled Golden Globe Race. Now reluctantly offered for sale due to a bereavement in this brokers family.
