Renowned as one of Peter Cole's finest designs, the Traditional 30 remains highly sought after. Designed far ahead of its time, it boasts an exceptionally spacious interior, impressive sailing performance, and true offshore capability. Truly the epitome of the cruiser/racer concept, these vessels seamlessly transition from a perfect family yacht to formidable competitors in round the cans racing, with some even competing in recent editions of the Sydney to Hobart race! This vessel is an excellent example of the design and has been well-maintained and significantly upgraded. These major upgrades include a 2016 VOLVO 30HP DIESEL ENGINE, 2015 MAINSAIL, 2016 FURLING NO. 2 HEADSAIL, 2018 NEW ELECTRIC BILGE PUMP, 2014 NEW ANCHOR CHAIN, 2017 NEW BOOM TENT, the list goes on. Presenting in excellent condition throughout, this is a vessel that ticks all the boxes. Whether you want to cruise, race, or even enjoy the liveaboard lifestyle, this is a vessel that can do it all in style and comfort!

Stepping inside, the light and airy interior features a charming mix of traditional timber and clean white finishes. To port is the large dinette, with seating for 6 in comfort around the elegantly curved settees. Adjacent, the well-appointed galley features a two-burner gas stove with oven, 12V fridge, stainless steel sink with pressurised water, and plenty of storage for extended stays onboard. Designed with cruising in mind, the accommodation layout is thoughtfully arranged. Forward boasts a private double berth, while aft features a king single pilot berth. The dinette conveniently converts to an additional double to port, complemented by a single settee opposite when additional accommodation is needed. The package is complete with an electric toilet and shower.

Outside, the wide transom creates a generous cockpit with plenty of space for either the full race crew or a leisurely retreat in your favourite anchorage. Easily managed shorthanded, the vessel is well set up with the mainsail in a boom bag with lazy jacks, furling headsail, lines led aft to the cabin top, and self-tailing primary winches. There is easy access forward around the wide side decks to the bow, which features a large anchor with plenty of chain and warp.

This vessel is powered by the NEW 2016 Volvo 30HP Diesel engine. With very low hours on the clock, this provides excellent performance and reliability, with comfortable cruising at 5 to 6 knots.

With its pedigree, capability, and excellent presentation, this vessel is sure to impress on inspection. Easily sailed by a novice, but with the performance to delight the most discerning sailing, it is an opportunity not to miss. For more information please call Jo Breen on or Jack Allison on .
