Traditional 30 yachts are amongst one of the most popular choices for couples or families wanting to get into yachting. Its hard to get any boat easier than a Traditional 30.
This Traditional 30 designed by Peter Cole and launched in 1984, presents in very good original condition. Traditional 30s are renowned for the large overall volume internally and often out size a 32-footer for space and comfort.
This boat has been owned by the same owner for many years, and they have kept her in excellent condition all round. The engine was replaced with a Kubota 25hp and Volvo sail drive with folding prop. The engine has around 435 hours on the meter, presenting in excellent condition.
Aluminium mast and boom with stainless steel wire rigging 10+ years old. Running rigging which is all in serviceable condition. The sail wardrobe is complete with a battened Main in boom bag, #1,#2,#3, headsails which are matched to a pro furl self furler plus there is a MPS in a sock.
A large settee down below accommodates 6 and converts to be another double amidships. There is a generous V double in the bow and 1 quarter berth to aft. A private and fully enclosed head is aft of the forward stateroom bulkhead.
A large Bimini with stainless steel frame and canvas is in place for additional protection from the weather. Solar panels are on top and the gas system has been recently NSW certified. There is a 2024 out of water survey available that will be suitable for pre purchase and insurance requirements.
A recent antifoul has been done so this one is ready to go.
