Built with strength in mind, these Cardinal 46 performance cruiser/racers are highly sought-after, long-distance, blue water yachts which are capable of taking you, anywhere, in comfort! Solid hulls, and robust rigs, they exude safety, security, and power. With well-planned generous accommodation, they offer a luxury aft double island bed, as well as a spacious double V-berth, each with its own head. The Cardinal Series of yachts date from the 1980s and were the foundation of the Warwick Yacht Design Company. Alan Warwick produced over 500 designs which solidified him as a designer of world class cruising boats, multihulls and commercial boats.

Lady Doris was originally from Hong Kong and has had 3 liveaboard owners. She has been lovingly looked after with a recent refit that includes new chain plates and bolts, new copper coat antifoul, new cutlass bearing, new canvas, new mainsail cover, new batteries, new BBQ, and new Seadeck EVA foam decking.

Her refit, only 5 years ago, included new anchor and chain, new mast wiring, new lights, new rigging, new turnbuckles, new topside paint (Awlgrip), new deck paint (Awlgrip), new sails, and a new dinghy and outboard. With COVID inbetween, many of the items from this refit have been sparsely used. Motor, genset and all other systems are always maintained and serviced regularly.

She has an element of old style charm, with wooden beams, and wood throughout, but with light and breeze and a real feeling of home. She is easy to navigate, with access to the aft cabin via both the galley on the port side, or the walk through head and shower unit on the starboard side.

The current owner is a Boat Builder based in China, and he finds his work his limiting his time onboard. Being a boat builder he knows full well that boats love to be loved. And he knows Lady Doris deserves an owner who can spend more time onboard her. It's with a sad heart though that he is advertising her, but he wants to do what is best for this beautiful lady.
