"Down Under" has to be inspected to appreciate the quality, the Wauquiez Centurion 45S is a "True Performance Cruiser", unlike mass-production cruisers, the Centurion 45s is a Berret-Racoupeau design built for speed and comfort. It easily clocks 8+ knots upwind and handles heavy weather with ease. The interior features solid Burmese teak, pristine joinery, and Alcantara finishes that hold up much better than modern veneered yachts. Really set up for short-handed sailing with the lines all leed aft to the cockpit, making it easy for a couple or a solo sailor to manage.

Mast / Rigging
The vessel is rigged as a fractional sloop. The Sparcraft anodised aluminium mast is fitted with three sets of slightly, swept spreaders and rigged with cap shrouds, dis-continuous D1, D21, antl D3 diagonal shrouds, aft lower shrouds forstayed and a bridled backstay. The forestay is litted with a Profurl R420 genoa furling system. AII standing rigging is 1 x 19 stainless steel wire. The forestay and furler were fitted, approx 6 years ago. The backstay is fitted with a Navtec hydraulic ram. A Seldon brand self-tackirg jib track is fitted. Harken brand including the winchcs. The vessel has electric halyard winches.
