This stunning Woollacott 22 is a proven and robust vessel built in the 1950's in the traditional style out of Kauri Pine. In the 1980's she was sailed from Auckland to Northern Tasmania, and has remained a Tasmanian vessel every since. In the 1990's she was treated to a full restoration by the legendary Neil Houston, and now presents in excellent condition. A recent survey from the 2/11/19 is available on request which confirms this.

The interior of the vessel is light and airy, with beautifully varnished trim and blue upholstery. The galley is well positioned adjacent to the companion way and features a 2 burner metho stove and sink. Accommodation is provided by 2 Single settee berths with folding table, and there is plenty of room forward for storage and sails.

Outside, this vessel shows off her traditional good looks, with gleaming white topsides, Kauri decks and wooden spars. The cockpit is well laid out to easily manage the vessel short handed. The furling headsail, and mainsail are both made out of red dacron which cosmetically complements the aesthetics of the vessel.

A well maintained Yanmar YSE8 powers the vessel at around 5 knots very economically.

This well loved vessel has been a regular attendee at the Tasmanian Wooden Boat festival, and is always a conversation started, with her rich history. It would suit anyone looking for an eye catching small yacht, with plenty of character, which is safe and capable in all conditions.
