Fun, Fast & Easy.
Buy this fantastic sail boat for Christmas and enjoy a summer of sailing. The Weta is such a versatile yacht. It can be a fast and thrilling ride when powered up or a very stable family cruiser. It is easy to set up and light to tow. It packs down to the size of a Laser on a trailer.
I am the second owner of this Weta having purchased it from a Doctor on the Sunshine Coast in late 2021. It had barely been used up to that time and since then, I have sailed it most Saturdays in club racing for 4 summers. The sails are in excellent condition and the boat sails very well. I am only selling as I opportunistically purchased a newer version of the same yacht. Sadly, it has to go. It is stored in Melbourne. The Weta Association is active and you'll find as much help as you need from them if you make contact.
I am selling it with all sails (1 x pin head main sail, I x non-self tacking jib and 1 x gennaker), a beach trolley with soft beach wheelz, a custom made travel boat cover by Ocean South and all spars and fittings required for sailing. The stays were replaced 2 seasons ago. It does not come with a road trailer as I require it for the replacement boat.
There is one blemish on the rear of the starboard ama where a collision cracked the fibreglass. It is fully repaired and is watertight but is visible.
The sail number is 902 and it was manufactured in 2013. The price is well under half the price of a new Weta so represents outstanding value.
