Beneteau, one of the world's leading boat manufacturers, has developed an "eco-responsible boat concept" that uses Elium® resin in its construction.

The "eco-responsible boat concept by BENETEAU" in Elium® resin is a major innovation in boat design and manufacturing that was showcased at the 2022 Nautic Paris Boat Show. The First 44E is the first production sailboat model to be entirely manufactured using Elium® resin for recyclable composites, thanks to a partnership between BENETEAU and Arkema.

This is a significant development in the world of boat design, as it demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. By using Elium® resin for recyclable composites, BENETEAU is able to produce boats that are more eco-friendly than traditional fiberglass composite boats. Elium® resin is a thermoplastic material that is lightweight, durable, and recyclable, which means that boats produced with this material can potentially be recycled once they reach the end of their useful life.

In addition to the use of Elium® resin, the eco-responsible boat concept by BENETEAU also incorporates other sustainable features, such as solar panels, energy-efficient lighting, teak alternatives and water-saving systems. These features help to reduce the environmental impact of the boats and make them more efficient and cost-effective to operate.

Overall, the eco-responsible boat concept by BENETEAU is a significant development in boat design and manufacturing, and it sets a new standard for eco-friendly boating.
