An unfortunate sale as the boat is just not being used this little Bayliner 245 would ideally suit a young family looking to start their life on the water here in Mandurah or anywhere along the WA coastline with an easy to handle, budget conscious boat package that will give you the option of overnighting in our beautiful rivers or swinging off the anchor in one of the clear blue bays of Rottnest Island.

A spacious cockpit for this class of boat utilising the space in a clever manner with a collapsible rear lounge opening the cockpit up if needed along with a flip back Port side lounge giving you the option or forward or aft facing seating, set the table in place and you are ready for a few sandwiches with the kids. Easy access through the starboard side transom door off the extended swim platform with SS railings making safe passage for the family to don your flippers for a look around the Salmon bay reef... Its worth the trip !

Just a few steps forward to the helm and co pilot L shaped seating allowing your co pilot a relaxing place to rest up while you skilfully skipper the boat into Herring bay. Great visibility from the helm through crystal clears front screens with all you need easy to hand. Tilt steering, trim tabs, electronics and a bank of switches. The Bayliner 245 is not a difficult boat to
operate for the novice boater.

Slide the cabin door open when not under way, it doubles as access to the bow through the front screen and you can access the cabin with just two small steps down the companionway. Despite this only being a 24 foot boat the room below is surprising even for my tall frame. A full height head to Starboard with Jabsco toilet, sink and shower, galley to Port with Stainless Steel sink, prep area and storage neatly trimmed with a timber finish. The micro operating through the 110/240 converter when on shore power. Recently fitted the Victron step down covers the microwave, battery charger and air con... Yes an AR AC unit is installed. A dual fuel stove is fitted but these are rarely used with BBQ in the cockpit being the best option.

Accommodation is again very spacious for this class of boat ! A sizeable double is available when converting the Bow dinette with extended length available when removing the forward backrest, a clever use of space ! An aft transverse double neatly tucked under the Cockpit. Ventilated through a porthole for great air flow. Sleeping four in comfort on a 24 foot boat is not always easy, the Bayliner 245 has that covered.

Powered by a Mercruiser 5.0lt V8,260 Hp stern drive engine will see this Bayliner moving along comfortably for your trips to the islands or up the river. It all seems neat and tidy for a boat of this vintage. There has clearly been regular maintenance over the years. No hour meter is fitted unfortunately so we are unsure on the exact hours. The current owners have only used the boat 7 times in the last few years. This is an honest Family Bayliner 245, neat and tidy below. The Cockpit carpets are looking in great shape with the expected wear and tear on the upstairs upholstery. A full set of covers protects the boat including external block outs and allows use of the cockpit at night when staying onboard. The helm area is
about as good as I have seen for this range of boats without al of the usual heavy dash cracks so often seen.

Please note this is a 120v rated boat and there has been a 110/240 Victron step down installed step down fitted.
