Moonbird is a simply stunning example of the popular Swift Trawler 34. Launched in 2012 and only lightly used, she has been thoughtfully and extensively upgraded since 2023 so you can step aboard and immediately enjoy her comforts, style and seaworthiness with no more to spend.

Powered by an economical and regularly serviced single Cummins QSB 425 HP diesel engine, this Swift Trawler 34 can cruise efficiently at 10- 12 knots or plane at a top speed of over 20 knots. At any speed range, her sea kindly hull will give you a comfortable and exhilirating ride with a choice of helm stations; in the main cabin in perhaps less favourable weather or on the fly bridge with great visibility and to enjoy the outdoors. All the controls are duplicated at both helm stations including throttle, bow and stern thrusters, ride height and trim adjustment, navigation instruments, anchor windlass, autopilot and VHF radios.

The recently installed Dock Mate remote docking system controlling fore and aft movement via the main engine and sideways movement via the bow and stern thrusters ensures easy manouvering at your chosen marina. The recently installed Cummins - Onan 6Kva genset ensures you can be self sufficient with all the power you need at sea.

The versatile layout of the Swift Trawler 34 offers comfortable sleeping for up to 6 persons and a generous saloon for entertaining and passing the time. You can also enjoy the foredeck sun lounge, the fresh air and great views from the fly-bridge, a quiet drink in the cockpit or cast a line or take a refreshing swim from the rear marlin board with its boarding ladder and adjacent fresh water hot/cold shower. You'll always feel safe moving around the deck with raised bulwarks and safety rails. A convenient gate in the starboard bulwark adjacent to lower helm station provides direct access to the marina to assist when berthing.

Her comprehensive inventory includes Raymarine electronics with duplicated screens providing performance data, AIS, Radar, Autopilot and information at both helm stations. There is an inflatable tender with outboard that stows conveniently on the fly-bridge deck and a near new 4 person life raft.

Moonbird was slipped, cleaned, polished and antifouled with Propspeed application in October 2025 so she is ready to go for the coming summer and beyond.
