Specialised Marine Sales is pleased to be able to bring the ever popular Caribbean 35 Fly Bridge to the market, it has always been a WA favourite with its enduring lines, huge cockpit and room for the whole family. It will continue to be a WA favourite with no plans for the design and layout to change, with close to 5o years as a recognised model and hundreds of sales to back it up why change now !

JT as she is known offers all that Caribbean has on offer from the longer GRP swim platform to the transom leading to a Starboard side transom door onto the Teak laid expansive Cockpit. Plenty of storage hatches around the gunwales and a the usual huge lazarette installed just aft of the saloon doors with an internal locking pin fitted for extra security. A port side stainless steel sink with storage neatly installed behind the fly bridge ladder and a Eutectic fridge installed to the Starboard side. Plenty of room to fish, entertain, rig dive gear or set up a table and chairs under the rear awning, add the euro awning with stainless steel poles and side clears and your ready for the weekend. With around 9sq m of Teak to utilise the Caribbean 35 is a class leader.

Breezeways cover the Saloon doors for that extra bit of protection for the Saloon and internals of the boat. Teamed with the Saloon side breezeways and front screen covers there was a noticeable difference in the Saloon internal temperature compared to what was going on outside in the Cockpit on the morning we had the boat out for some images with the owner around the Mandurah waterways. JT is very well presented internally for a boat built in 1997 with typical Caribbean leather finishes to the lounges and dinette with upgraded curtains matching the forward cabin manchester. Not your standard dark blue finishes has the boat looking younger than she is ! Gloss timber trims throughout and a lighter carpet colour are creating space with ample light from the sliding side windows.

Off to the Port side the Caribbean U shaped galley sits quietly in the corner, functional surfaces with a parquetry floor, Meile twin element stove, Engel fridge and Sharp microwave will have the family well feed throughout the day. This layout has been keeping Caribbean families happy for nearly 50 years and we are confident it will be just what your family needs as well.

Accommodation according to Caribbean is available for around 9 pax, that might be a little tight but we have a very comfortable double berth in the bow with an overhead hatch and seating, a midships double bunk berth to the Port side that will definitely suit the kids or those under 6 foot for a night onboard. Folding the Saloon lounge up offers a small double and an overhead single but dont roll oer you might tumble off with the option to drop the dinette table for another small double but realistically it makes a great single So lets go with comfortable sleeping for 7 pax. Thats still plenty of berths on a boat in the 35 foot class.

My father always had to have a twin station boat and I was never sure why until I spent time in the Mandurah region cruising the local water ways. It can be a long lonely day up in the fly bridge helm station while all your guests enjoy your hospitality down stairs so yes now I can see the benefits in twin stations. Berthing can be easier racing to ropes from the lower station and being involved with the social aspect of the day out is vitally important. The lower station has the basics covered to allow easy use of the boat with the upper station having the Raymarine sounder, Seiwa GPS and trim tabs. Seating upstairs for the skipper and co-pilot along with 4 or 5 friends to keep you company under the bimini and recently replaced clears. Vision is exceptional.

Powered by a pair of Cummins 6BTA 5.9 turbo diesel shaft driven engines has JT cruising at 18-22 knots with a sprint speed of around 26 knots if the conditions allow. The owner has the boat booked for its annual serving in Dec 2023 covering the engines and genset, Anti-foul will be done along with prop speed so she wil lbe ready for the coming summer season. With a commitment to upkeep by the current owners throughout the last 16 years of ownership we think this one will slide through its pre purchase inspections.
